The dashboard summarises the posted ledger: revenue, expenses, net income, cash, receivables and payables, with charts over time. The figures are the same ones the reports produce.
Steps
- Pick a view (Overview, Cash Flow, Profit & Loss and others) from the row of tabs.
- Change the history range with 7D, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD or 1Y.
- Hover a chart to read the exact ledger value for that point.
- Open a card's menu to jump to the underlying report.
- Use Customize to rearrange or hide widgets.
What you get
You can see how the business is doing and open the report behind any number.
Who can do this
Everyone in the organization can view this page (owner, admin, accountant, bookkeeper, manager and viewer).
If something goes wrong
- A figure looks different from a report.
- Check the period: KPI cards show the current accounting period, while the history chart shows the selected range.
- The cash-flow chart shows a large inflow on the first month.
- Opening balances are posted cash, so they appear as an inflow in the month they are dated.
