A bank account in FINUXI is the accounting representation of a real account or card: its name, currency and the ledger account it maps to (for example Operating Cash, or a credit-card liability). Live bank feeds are not connected; activity arrives by file import.
Steps
- Create the account with its institution, type and currency.
- Map it to the matching ledger account.
- Import statements into it from Imports.
What you get
Imports, transactions and reconciliations know which ledger account they affect.
Who can do this
Owners, admins, accountants and bookkeepers can make changes; managers and viewers can only view.
If something goes wrong
- Import says there is no bank account.
- Create one here first; every imported row belongs to a bank account.
